1 - Shape Your Future may collect personal information

Shape Your Future (SYF) may collect personal information when you visit our website, request information, download resources, register, use our services, or contact the Shape Your Future team. We may collect the following information: first and last name; the name of the school where you study or company where you work; contact information, including email address and telephone number; demographic information, such as the city and country where you live, preferences and interests; site usage data; other information relevant to responding to customer enquiries; other information relating to satisfaction surveys and other.

2 - How do we use the data?

Collecting such data helps us to understand how visitors use this site and to present them with timely and relevant information. 8 - Registration

Information shared with SYF during registration is expected to be provided with parental or guardian consent. SYF does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18 without parental or guardian consent. Once enrolled, SYF continues to collect and process personal information for the purpose of offering its programs and services. Personal information is used to keep you informed about SYF and to provide you with access to our services. Personal information will also be collected, created and stored (about the student and their family) throughout the programme. Information requested from enrolled students and their families includes names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, gender and dates of birth. Medical and health information related to the student may be collected to ensure the student's well-being during face-to-face programs. In addition, we record information about academic, sporting and extracurricular interests and achievements, as well as results of questionnaires and tests taken throughout the programme and possibly financial information. Performance information (group and individual activities) and images of the student engaged in activities may also be collected and maintained. We may share student information and images on the internet and in publications with written permission from parents or guardians. You will need to provide this information if you wish to register with Shape Your Future.

9 - Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint about the way we handle your personal information please provide full details of your complaint and any supporting documentation and send it by email to info@shapeyourfuture.pt or by post to Shape Your Future, Travessa da Espera, 3, 4D, 1200-175 Lisbon. Shape Your Future undertakes to give you an initial response to your query or complaint within 2 weeks, and will try to resolve your query or complaint within 40 working days, or longer if necessary, of which you will be notified.
