"Passion for Education.

Anabela Possidónio was Executive Director of The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova between 2013 and 2018, before joining CUF to assume the leadership of the CUF Academic Center. Her time in the university world allowed her to get closer to the education system, as she worked directly with the Deans of the Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and Nova SBE, with the faculty of these two schools, as well as with professors from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and guest lecturers.

This experience, combined with coaching and over 25 years of corporate experience, meant that friends turned to you for help whenever they needed it. One of the recurring requests was to talk to their teenage children to guide them in their academic decisions. Over the last 8 years he has had dozens of conversations and developed his own methodologies to guide them through the process.

At the end of 2020 she began to experience a sense of uncertainty and distress in her own home. With a 14-year-old daughter, she realised that both she and her friends felt lost in the process of choosing their area of study. This was the source of inspiration to run a programme with Year 8 and 9 students during confinement. The programme went so well that both parents and young people encouraged her to launch Shape Your Future.
